We intend to inform you as our clients regarding the “Code on the Protection of Personal Data (Law No. 6698)” in accordance with the principles of right of privacy, and thus the security of your personal data.
To begin with, certain terms will be explained in order to prevent confusion of concepts, then we are going to inform you regarding the purpose of processing your personal data, the purpose and whom your personal data is transmitted to, the method and the legal reason of collecting your personal data, and your rights within the scope of the Code on the Protection of Personal Data.
Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person
Processing of Personal Data: Any operation which is performed on personal data, either by wholly or partly automated means or by non-automated means as part of any data filing system, such as collection, recording, storage, preservation, alteration, adaptation, disclosure, transmission, retrieval, making available, categorization or restriction
Data Controller: BABYCE, Natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data, and who is responsible for establishment and management of the data filing system
Data Processor: Natural or legal person who processes personal data based on the authority granted by and on behalf of the data controller
Filing System: The recording system through which any structured personal data are processed according to specific criteria
Anonymization: Rendering personal data in such a manner that the personal data can no longer be attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person even by linking with other data
Our Company may process your personal data within the scope of the Code on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, with intend to provide you better and on occasion personal service, to enhance our service quality, and to develop and promote new products.
An automatic data processing system is operated by our Company, and your Personal Data will be stored in accordance with the time limits stipulated in the related legislation. If there is no regulation in the related legislation regarding time limits, Personal Data will be processed until the purpose of the activity in the time of processing is achieved, after which it shall be erased, destroyed or anonymized.
Our Company takes full responsibility for protection of the entire collected and processed data.
Your personal data shall be processed for us to be able to provide a better service, enhance our service quality and provide personal service, and used for product-service display, advertisement, communication, promotion, sales, marketing, store card, credit card and membership information applications and transactions, seasonal campaign studies, construction of special promotional activities for various customer profiles, customer classifications for not delivering unsolicited e-mails, and for continuation of the advertisement, display, marketing activities to be formed through personal information, development and presentation of new products, and may be shared by our Company’s majority shareholders, direct and/or indirect domestic or foreign affiliates; with partner organizations whom we cooperate, get service to carry out our activities, and other third parties with whom we interact with the purpose of carrying out our activities.
Your personal data may be collected in writing, verbally or electronically in any manner, or through the submitted store form, questionnaires, or electronically via site membership or through online purchases and call centers upon your consent.
We wish to kindly remind that in accordance with Article 11 of the Code on the Protection of Personal Data, as the data subject, you have the right to; learn whether or not your personal data have been processed, request information regarding processing if your data have been processed, seek information regarding the purpose of processing of personal data and whether processed data are used in accordance with their purpose, know domestic or foreign third parties to whom personal data have been transmitted to, request rectification in case personal data are processed incompletely or inaccurately, request erasure or destruction of personal data if the reasons required for processing of the personal data have ceased to exist, request that rectified or erased data to be notified to the third parties to whom personal data have been transmitted, object to negative results in case the processed data are analyzed exclusively through automated systems, and request compensation for the damages in case of damages incurred due to unlawful processing of personal data.
